Charge 3 display issues

Hi All,

I am having trouble with the display of my fitbit Charge 3 where only the bottom line of the battery being charged is visible. It started off a few months ago when the top sections of the display were dimmer than the rest and now - almost 90% of the display is so dim that i can't make out if it is on or not.

 

I have had the charge 3 for around 14 months or so (purchased from John Lewis, Watford store, Nov '18).

I have tried resetting by plugging it into the charger but am unable to do a hard reset as I cannot see anything on the screen. The watch however pairs perfectly with my iPhone 7 (IOS 13.3) and syncs perfectly.  

 

1. Are any of you aware of what steps to take to resolve this problem ?

2. Is there a fitbit shop/workshop where i can give my watch for investigation and fixing ?

 

Any help from any of you will be much appreciated.
