HI I tried to sync my fit bit last night and it kept saying tracker not found, when I followed the advice for not syncing I did a charging restart and it wouldn't come back on, when it did it was showing the fitbit icon and the 001 code, now it is showing a time but it says 5.32 and it is 10.10am. None of the things that have been suggested I do have worked. Can someone help me?

hello! i had the same problem as stated above. after waking up and taking a short walk, my fitbit was displaying i had walked 11,000 steps. seeing this was clearly incorrect, i pulled put my phone and tried syncing it with the app to see if that would help. i wouldn't sync, so i held the power button for 8 seconds to restart it. it then showed the fitbit logo and error code 001. i restarted it by pluging it into my computer when i got home, and then holding the power button again until i saw the smiling face. now it is displaying 10,000 steps (which i am sure i haven't reached today, by far) and the incorrect time. what should i do?

I've had the same problem as well as others. I've been through 1 Charge 2 and 2 Charge 3's.
My advice is to throw the **ahem**ed thing away and go with another brand. You'll save yourself a lot of time and aggravation.

I have the same issue I reset it nothing is working the screen is just black

Same issue here. Lights are flashing along with code 001. Restarted several times, no luck even after a smiley face appears

Thank you for the information and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. If you haven't done so, I'd recommend performing a long restart to your Charge 3. To complete the long restart, please follow the instructions below:

No battery icon ever appears.
Tried several times, sometimes I only get one or two vibrations before a smiley face appears. After a smiley face, fitbit is unresponsive and face is blank.

I bought my Charge 3 Feb 2019 when on holiday in Livigno, Italy (also bought two Fitbit Versa) same date. My Charge 3 stopped working December 2019. It displays logo 001 and nothing else. Briefly displayed smiley face. I still have receipt and box. In Europe 2 year warranty but pandemic and couldn’t find advice on internet. Just found this fitbit community today May 2022. Very disappointed and never bought another tracker device since.

Please confirm that you have restarted your tracker and tried the long restart (instructions are three posts above your post).

Thanks for getting back to us and for trying to restart your Charge 3 @Issercleran7089. The restart that your trying is on the tracker not the app. Did you try the long restart?
@Alpha_3, welcome to our community. Please confirm that you have restarted your Charge 3 and tried the long restart.
