My fitbit went from staying charged for 3-4 days to only staying charged for a couple of hours overnight!

Hello @PenJon. Welcome to the community forums.
I'm sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for the detailed information. At this time, I'd like to let you know that there are some factors that could impact the battery life of your Charge 3 and there is currently a list of tips that could help on how to extend it. For more information, I recommend visiting this help article: Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?
Hope this helps.

There is no reason for the device to change how long it stays charged suddenly if the settings have not been changed. The link you provided is not helpful because most of us have already done that and have setting which previously allowed it to stay charged for days at a time. The batteries were fine before your recent update. If Fitbit keeps this up (selling products that stop functioning after 15-18 months) most of us will switch to a different company that provides more durable devices.

I am hearing this from people who have Charge 4s as well since the most recently firmware update. The solution link provided by the moderator is useless since I am guessing you did not make any changes to your setting to increase the amount of time the screen is lit (the other items about apps and music don't apply to the Charge 3). With identical settings there is no reason for the device to have held charge for 3-4 days a week ago to a couple of hours now.
FitBit must address these issues that seem to pop up when a device is 15-18 months old. Its not reasonable to expect customers to dish out $100+ every 1-2 years to replace the device. Other companies manufacture devices that last much longer. I have been with Fitbit since 2014 and did not want to go to Apple but Fitbit is making it increasingly less desireable to stay with them with their product quality and value for money dropping. Come On FitBit step it up and fix the problems in your devices!

Well, surprised to read this as I own my Fitbit approximately 15-18 months now and I start having the exact same issues. @WilsonFitbit is there any truth to this? Is there anything that can be done about this as everything mentioned in the link doesn't help at all.

Hello @Snigdha. Nice to see you around. @GeenInteresse Welcome to the community forums.
Thank you very much for providing detailed information and for taking the time to provide your feedback. Please note that any feedback posted in the forums is always welcome as it helps to improve our products, services and overall environment.
At this time, I'd like to let you know that since the inconveniences have persisted and I’ve reached the limits of what I can do for you here on the public community forums, I'd recommend contacting our Support Team for further assistance. Note that you can contact them through chat or over the phone, but phone wait times have been a little bit longer than normal, so I recommend initiating a chat. Click here to get connected.
On a side note, there hasn't been any recent firmware update for the Charge 3, therefore, it can't be associated with the reports received on the Charge 4 board.
See you around.
