I walked today and had 6500 steps. I manually synced in order to bring up stats faster (that seems to take longer lately) and steps dropped to 2300 on both my fitbit and iphone.

Hi there @Memcfad, welcome to the Community Forums. We're sorry for the late response, due to recent events affecting our operations, we're taking longer to respond.

We are not sure what might have caused this, but we would expect this to be one glitch and I would ask you to keep an eye on your Charge 3. In case this happens again, please let me know and I will be glad to further investigate.

If you remember the exact amount of steps or the name of the activity you performed, you can try manually logging the activity. To get more information about this, check the article: Can I add an activity manually to my Fitbit account?

Additionally, it'd be great to take a look at: How do Fitbit devices sync their data? to get more information about how your Charge 3 syncs your data during the day.

I'll be around if there's anything else I may do to help you in the meantime.
