My charge 3 registered ~8k steps this morning after a 4-mile walk and after syncing, dropped the step count to 2k and mileage to 0.8mi. It also did not automatically log the exercise in the exercise log as it has in the past (I did not start the exercise log before setting off). After some afternoon yard work, my Fitbit again registered around 11k steps (and had granted me my 10k “wrist party”), but dropped off to 9k after syncing again. I have never seen this behavior from this device before and am quite frustrated. I wasn’t watching as closely the last couple days, but I did think the step counts seemed a bit low,
and now I’m wondering if this has been going on for few days, at least. I am on the latest software version and have now done a soft reset of the device. I want all my steps captured!
