Since the software change, my charge 3 is not updating properly. It will show 0 steps on the dashboard for several days at a time although tapping on the 0 brings up the graph and this occasionally DOES show steps. It is erratic because no two days are the same. Using a Samsung Note 9 with latest Android software.

Regarding the update issues that your Charge 3 has experienced, I'd like you to try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. After this, monitor your tracker during the next 24 hours and see if the issue gets fixed.

Thank you for your suggestions. I have tried all of those and my fitbit did indeed update. Today, however, I have checked again, and there is no data in the app since 22 December. I never had a problem until the firbit app was updated. I am sure it is not my problem, it is the software. This renders my fitbit 50% useless. What is worse is that I have bought a charge 4 as a birthday present in a week or so. I am very concerned.
