Hi.

My charge 3 screen is fading and I can hardly read it at all. I have tried restarting but no difference. Does anyone have a suggestion?

Please try charging your Charge 3 for at least 1 and then restart it by following these steps.
MarreFitbit
Remove your old Charge 3 from the Bluetooth settings on your phone.
Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use.
Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
Setup your Charge 3.
