Charge 3 grey screen

Hi, can anyone please help? My fitbit charge 3 screen has turned grey all of a sudden, this is a replacement charge 3 in just over a year as my first ones screen went blank.

Try a Long Restart:

CHARGE 3 LONG RESTART
Connect the device to the charging cable.
While the device is plugged into the charging cable, press and hold the button down for 15 seconds.
The device turns on and shows a battery icon. Two vibrations occur: first a short vibration, then a medium vibration.
The device turns off.
The device turns on and shows a progress bar and short vibrations occur. The progress bar completes. Note: A total of 7 short vibrations occur.
Remove the device from the charging cable. The device shuts down.
Important: Plug the device into the charging cable again.

Thankyou for your feedback, i have tried the above method but have had no joy 😞 this is my second charge 3 after the first one didnt last 8 month before the screen went blank, this one is a replacement and i've only had it around 6 months and the screen has turned grey 😞

Can you still see your screen?  Mine just did the same thing.  I can see the time and steps but instead of being a black screen it is now grey with vertical white lines 😞

@Davie590 I just saw an older post from Jan 2019 regarding this issue.  Everyone had to contact FitBit and get the device replaced.  Hopefully we can get ours fixed too.

Yes mine is the same as yours, i can still see everything but rather than the screen being black it is grey with lines going down, it hasnt even been damaged in any way, i took it off for a week or so over xmas because i wasnt training, and when i went to put it back on it had turned grey, will have to contact customer support

I calleed last night and they only suggested troubleshooting was the reboot and lomg reset.  Since neither worked and my device was still under warranty, they are replacing it.  Customer Service was awesome about it.

Been speaking to customer support and they are sending me a replacement 😊 excellent customer service but with this being my second replacement already i dont think the next one will last long either 😏

Hi,

Mine has done the same thing. I've tried the long restart, changing the clock face and have searched the forums for another solution but nothing. Help please!
