my charge 3 was working perfectly fine earlier today and then all of sudden completely died. Theres no green light. Ive tried charging it, ive tried the charge hold button reset several times. Nothing. It hasnt been dropped submerged crashed nothing. All of sudden. Poof done.

Same with mine. It was fine earlier today and at some point either later afternoon or early evening whatever happened did. Black screen, no response and I JUST got this brand new end of May so it's not even 2 months old yet.

Bought mine new in december. Around 3:08pm is last time it synced. Noticed the screen was blank around 6pm, went to put it on the charger it vibrated one long time and then dead.

I did manage to get it to come back on. I had to do a "restart" put it in the charger, and hold the side button for 8 seconds (i know, odd number. Lol) a smileyface should come on the screen if that works and it should be good to go. Whatever happened though, while black it drained the battery from 40% to like 20% in a matter of 30 min maybe ... I charged it overnight and it's been working again. Hopefully that might work for you as well

I just put it back into the charger, it did slightly vibrate so maybe i will try charging it overnight and try the restart again. Its either that or move onto a charge 4 if theyre not going to replace it.

So ive charged it overnight, it did come back to life but now won't sync to the phone and doesnt hold a charge. Is fitbit going to ever jump in here for assistance? Charges 24 hours to hold a 1% charge and not sync. Im guessing this is a software update gone bad as usual.

Ive been trying to fix mine for 3 days. Ive gotten to where it will send a code to try and pair up but doesnt complete it. Very frustrated right now as i would figure you would be after just getting it. Wish they would do something about it.

I came on here to see if I could find out how to fix this problem. My charge battery died so I charged it overnight and I thought it would be fine. The charge lasted about 2 hours. Now Charge 3 won’t charge at all.

Took me 2 days to charge it where it would do anything. Now it will say 100% and then all of a sudden say 1%. Still wont sync to the phone but will give me a 4 digit code to enter but then still doesn't sync.

That’s awful, got mine 30 days ago and it’s dead as well.

This happened to me too. I had to give it a full day on charge, before it switched on. I reboot the device and even asked for help from Support which was a waste, because all she said was my warranty is up and there's nothing they can do.
It works for about 2 hours a day before a full battery is drained, which is pointless.
If you still on warranty try contact fitbit and see if they can send you a replacement. If not, I'm not sure what to do.

I have this tracker 5 days only and cannot get it to restart have tried all the recommended steps holding for 8 seconds/ 15 seconds .. nothing happens its completely dead, yet it was 100% charged last night

What is this day 4 now, charged overnight still showing signs of life but still will not sync to the phone. Did all the restarts, cleared the data, installed and reinstalls. Will say it found the tracker give me a code and then nothing. Hey fitbit a little help here.

I have the same problem. Tried everything, charged it last night and have had it on 5 minutes.....already down to 95%.

I just ended up purchasing a charge 4 and the extra 2 year warranty yesterday. Couldn't wait any longer for a response to fix it. Still dying after taking it off the charger. So at this point still not working. Im going to keep trying anyway.
