Hi @LisaP85, it is nice to see you around in the community!

Thanks for sharing the details of your situation. Please, may I know if you are wearing your device correctly? Sometimes, when the device becomes loose during the night, it may stop tracking your heart rate. Since heart rate is one of the most critical stats to track for accurate sleep measurement, I would like to share this article with you: "How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?" Here, you will find some tips to improve the recording of your sleep.

Not changed the way I'm wearing the device, on the same wrist and in the same hole on the strap.  It was recording data fine up to last week, then I got basic data for a few days and now none at all.  Everything else seems fine when syncing, getting steps and activity logs etc.

If your Charge 3 isn't registering your sleep, I recommend trying the following:
Manually sync the tracker.
Restart the tracker.
Try sleeping with the tracker on your non-dominant hand.
If steps 1-3 don't work, I suggest manually logging your sleep to reflect the time slept.

Regards,

Rachel Gomez

Gone through link you sent, realised my sleep tile was off, so that's now fixed, thanks! Having checked through everything else as it still wasn't tracking sleep I've discovered that my heart rate is not tracking, which in turn means sleep isn't tracking.  According to my fitbit I died on 23 march!?!?

Hi @LisaP85, it is great to have good news from your end.

Now let's try to get this new issue resolved. To start, could you please confirm if you are not able to see the HR on your device or in your app.

If what you are seeing instead of a HR reading is dashes, that could mean that the actual HR is turned off. To verify this, please swipe left to see all the apps. Look for the settings app and then look for the Heart Rate option. From there, you can turn it on or off.

Hi Estuardo

Only seeing dashes on HR monitor on device, and it's still not recording any HR or sleep data on the app when synced.  Checked HR settings on the device and it is on.

Restart the tracker. See instructions in How do I restart my Fitbit device? Try sleeping with the tracker on your non-dominant hand. If steps 1-3 don't work, I suggest manually logging your sleep to reflect the time slept.
