Charge 3 inaccurate

I’ve had my charge 3 since it was released. I’ve always had problems with the floor counts since about 6months after purchasing, always counting above 27 flights a day even when I have doing nothing all day,  Reached out to Fitbit and it was unresolved. However now it’s also recording my steps incorrectly, my calories burned incorrectly in fact all my date appears to be wrong. Today I wanted to check this and wore a different fitness tracker doing a workout/walk and clocked 9347 steps On The other tracker and only 3768 on my charge 3. Ive been thinking about upgrading to the charge 4 however for its failings to fix issues with the charge 3 is putting me off and making me reconsider other brands. Anyone got any suggestions to how I can fix my accuracy on the charge 3

Make sure your Fitbit is up to date so you have the newest version. Also, make sure your Fitbit is tight enough around your wrist so it can read your steps and other thing correctly. If it's still not working, your device might not be working correctly. I know that Fitbit devices are not 100% correct but for my charge 3 and charge 4 it's only been about 100 to 1000 steps off but nothing like what you are reporting. If you try contacting support they might be able to fix your issue. Other than that, your device just might not be working correctly.

I haven’t changed the way I wear my fit bit, it’s nether to loose or tight. I have the most update release and have done a reset on the device itself. I would just accepted the device is no longer working properly and upgrade as planned however reluctant to do so since Fitbit hasn’t resolved the floor count issues that many people have reported with the charge 3 and now 2years into having the device all the data seems to be completely off.
