Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

This will be my 3rd watch all charge 3's

First 2 had lines in the screen but I digress

I lose time overnight then it also won't sync

To fix it I ethier  have to reboot Or sometime restarting my phone works this has happened  2 or 3 times now where it loses time, as I said I can get it to show correct time But it shouldn't do it in first place? What should I do seems defective

Hi @Magicpaw, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear about the syncing and time issues that your Charge 3 has experienced. I totally understand how you feel about this and I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

The time is probably wrong due to the syncing issues. In order to fix this, please try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. After this, monitor your tracker and see if it syncs and the time gets corrected.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

I already linked and unlinked the Bluetooth my main issue seems to be the
time the syncing seems to have sorted but timing is still off it 11.45 on
phone with reads 11.42

But by time I wake bj up in the morning it will be out by more than that
this is my 3rd fitbit charge 3 I'm soo frustrated now as I've had
nothing but problems

Hi @Magicpaw, thank you for trying the steps recommended previously. I know how frustrated you feel about this and we appreciate your feedback.

I'd like you to try one more workaround, which has been helpful for this type of issues. Please try a long restart. To do so, follow the steps below:

  1. Connect the device to the charging cable.
  2. While the device is plugged into the charging cable, press and hold the button down for 15 seconds.
  3. The device turns on and shows a battery icon. Two vibrations occur: first a short vibration, then a medium vibration.
  4. The device turns off.
  5. The device turns on and shows a progress bar and short vibrations occur. The progress bar completes. Note: A total of 7 short vibrations occur.
  6. Remove the device from the charging cable. The device shuts down.
  7. Important: Plug the device into the charging cable again.
  8. Set up your tracker from scratch.

Finally, keep monitoring your tracker for the next 24 hours and see if the time issue gets fixed.

Let me know how it goes.

I've followed those steps to get my charge 3 to sync about 100 times. Doesn't work. It hasn't synced since October 19!!!

I just charged it and now it has yesterday's date and the wrong time!!
