I have had several Charge fitbits over several years. With each, there generally ends up being a problem of some sort that has me seeking an upgrade.
Over the past week, I have spent hours and hours “forgetting my device” and resetting it up so that I can have my normal daily stats. But no, the active hours aren’t showing and to get the number of steps .. here we go again.
I have put in an order for a Charge 4 but now I am having serious doubts about that decision.
It has crossed my mind that this disruption we are experiencing is a marketing ploy of sorts. However, if that is the case, in my opinion, it is backfiring badly.

Hello @FrizzDizz, welcome to the Community Forums. I apologize for the late response, due to recent events affecting our operations, we're taking longer to respond.

While reading your post I was wondering which is the mobile device you're syncing with? Have you checked if your phone included in our list of supported devices? You can see the list at: Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker?
If so, please confirm if you've tried the steps recommended here: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

You're very welcome @FrizzDizz! Thanks for getting back and for the details provided.
By active hours you mean, your Hourly Activity Goal or your Active Minutes? I'd also like to know if when your Charge 3 has the chance to sync, is all your data synced correctly expect for the Hourly Activity Goal/Active Minutes?
I appreciate for letting me know the steps you have to take in order to sync your tracker. Besides those ones, please try the following:
- Open Settings app on phone
- Scroll down, tap Fitbit -> Toggle Location to 'Always'
- Ensure toggles next to Bluetooth and Background App Refresh are turned ON
In regards to your last inquiry, some users report being unable to sync after updating to iOS 13 or higher.
I hope the steps provided work, let me know the outcome.

Thank you, MarreFitbit.
I checked that all the Settings information was as you suggested to do and that was all correct.
It is the Hourly Activity that is the sector that is consistently not showing at all. None of the 9 hours of 250 steps are being accounted for.
The Fitbit scales recording each morning is fine.
Thank you very much for trying to help me find a solution.
Cheers,
FrizzDizz

Hey @FrizzDizz, thanks for letting me know that is the Hourly Activity Goal the one that is not updating and for checking the settings on your phone. We’re aware of Hourly Activity Goal not matching in the Fitbit app, along to the syncing difficulties with iOS devices running OS 13 or + and are working to identify a resolution as quickly as possible.
We're sorry for any trouble. We appreciate your patience and look forward to getting you back on track.
Please let us know if there's anything we can do to assist you in the meantime.
