Charge 3 lost connection since 3.49 iOS App update

Since the update my Charge 3 lost connection with IOS phone (that is updated). So I removed the watch from app and tried to reinstall but it won’t connect. Watch is next to phone and connected to charger. I tried restarting the phone and turning Bluetooth on and off…nothing

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @GTP-CA.

Thanks for the details shared in your post and for already trying to resolve the issue. I understand how you are feeling and recommend connecting the tracker to the charging cable and confirming our complete troubleshooting instructions in Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?

Hope this helps.

I tried all of the things on that webpage about 4 times.

I also tried shutting down the phone and restarting it.

Now I removed the FitBit app from my phone and reinstalled it. And I removed the device from the app. I am trying to add the device back on the FitBit app. It says it has found the tracker and it says “connecting” but the connecting will spin for a half hour and then I give up. I’ve tried this last part 3 times now. The Fitbit is connected to its charger and is right next to the phone.

I rebooted my FitBit device and then went through all the set up steps. Still won’t connect.

I just connected my Bluetooth speaker to my phone and that connects with no problem so it’s not my phone’s Bluetooth.
