So I was watching some videos on Garmin, Fitbit, and Apple last night and ran into a year old review of the Charge 3. It made me realize that here we are 1 year after release and things that were marketed have never happened:
1) SPO2 (this topic has been more than covered on these boards)
2) Direct from the current webpage for the Charge 3:
Everyday Apps
With Fitbit Charge 3, everyday apps like calendar and weather are just a tap away. Calendar app coming soon.
"Calendar app coming soon" has been on this list since the original release a year ago. So my question to Fitbit is, where is the calendar app?? A year certainly isn't "soon". Any time frame for when this is being released?
3) Watching the video review last night reminded me that Fitbit originally marketed that the Charge 3 would be getting 3rd party apps. I notice they have dropped that from their current marketing but it was there when I bought the tracker last year. So my question to Fitbit is, Where are the 3rd Party apps that were promised for the Charge 3 a year ago?
My biggest issue is the time Fitbit spends on creating new watches instead of making the current ones perform as promised. I'm sure this is part of the reason why the company is struggling. Over promise and under deliver time after time has to hurt their bottom line.

It's great to see you around, @JonDavidL.
I understand how are you feeling and appreciate the feedback provided. About the Spo2 feature, we don't have updates about this, but once we do, we will be more than glad to share it.
Weather and calendar, the Charge 3 has the option to receive calendar notifications, for more information about this, check the article: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device?. And the weather, you will be able to see it on your tracker every time you sync your device.
About the apps and clock faces, I recommend taking a look at the Fitbit charge 3 needs more apps and Improve Charge 3 Clock Faces requests, vote for them and leave your comment.
Now, if you want to share more ideas with us, feel free to visit our feature suggestions board.
Let me know if you need anything else. 🙂

Hi AlejandraFitbit!
Once again you've done that magic Fitbit moderator thing where you don't actually respond to what I wrote but instead just give a long email dodging the issues. Also why change the title of my post? I think my original title was much closer to what I was actually posting about. But again that is what you guys do all the time.
1) I did not ask about getting calendar notification on my Charge 3, I asked SPECIFICALLY about where is the "Calendar App" that was promised on your own Charge 3 webpage to this day?
2) Did I ask anything about the weather app? Of course I know there is a weather app on the Charge 3. It's right there. Obviously you didn't read what I wrote.
3) Did I say anything about clock faces? Why are you even talking about them? Oh that's right you didn't actually read what I wrote.
4)Why would I go vote for more 3rd party apps. Your own company in its own marketing a year ago told me the watch would soon have a calendar app and 3rd party apps. Why do I need to "go vote" on those things. FITBIT TOLD ME THE WATCH WOULD HAVE THEM "Coming Soon!".
So back to what I actually asked:
Where are the 3rd Party apps for the Fitbit Charge 3? Where is the calendar app for the Fitbit Charge 3?
What is the timeline for having these apps added since, with at least the calendar app, they are "Coming Soon." I await your reply. Thanks.

Hi JonDavidL I'm having the same concerns as you about the promised feautures that Fitbit told us about. I'm actually very disappointed in the software that they've put on the charge 3 so far. They have the tools necessary to make changes so why don't they do it? Barely anything has changed from what was originally on it. It makes me feel that they're only concentrating on updating the smart watches. I bought the charge 3 also because of the 3rd party apps but none have come. Fitbit better renew themselves soon or I'll have to switch to a Garmin or Apple Watch.
