Charge 3 not keeping time correctly

Has anyone else had a problem with the Fitbit Charge 3 not keeping time correctly? I have tried "restart" and that works for a day or so. I have made sure that the "automatically set" option is on.

The strange thing is if I take the Fitbit off and leave it on the counter, it will correct itself. However, the Fitbit is meant to be worn and it is very frustrating that I can't rely on the Fitbit for the correct time. Sometimes the Fitbit is off by minutes and at other times it is off by hours.

Welcome to the Forums, @Tess2017.

I understand how are you feeling and appreciate all the efforts in trying to fix this time issue. Are you making sure that your Charge 3 is syncing properly? Keep in mind that it needs to be constantly syncing in order to keep the time updated.

If the issue is with syncing, I recommend taking a look at the help article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and follow the instructions provided there. You also have to make sure that the device you are using to sync has the correct time.

Let me know the outcome. 🙂

Thank you for the response. All day syncing is on. Managed to get it
reconnected to app on phone. Kept correct time for about 10 minutes. Now it
won't connect to my phone.
