My Charge 3 is not receiving any iMessage notifications from my iPhone Xr. I've deleted the Fitbit app and reinstalled it, I've "forgotton" the device via Bluetooth, I've restarted my phone multiple times, I've made sure that I have text notifications on via the Fitbit app. The only thing I can't seem to do is reboot/restart my Fitbit. I've tried connecting it to the charger and holding down the side button for 15 seconds and I receive a smiley face, but I'm not sure that means it has restarted (if it does, I've done that multiple times and still am not receiving any text notifications). I have recently updated my iPhone's iOS, so maybe somehow that messed things up? My mom also has a Charge 3 and she said the same thing has happened with hers and she has not updated her iPhone Xr. I'm receiving Snapchat notifications as well as call notifications, but not text notifications.

I just got my Fitibit Charge 3 this weekend. Everything was fine. Getting all my notifications. Then suddenly I notice I'm no longer getting notified if I receive a new text message. Everything else works perfectly fine. All the apps that I have enabled notifications for, I'm correctly getting the notifications i.e. Instagram, Gmail, G-Chat etc. I'm getting notifications fine for phone calls as well, but these stupid text messages are not going through to my Fitbit.
I have everything enabled. I have tried everything that the forums have mentioned and nothing seems to work. It seems as though this is a common issue with A LOT of Fitbit 3 users. Someone HELP pls!

@emily_clark have you recently updated the phones OS to version 13. If so then please see the pinned post at the top of the iOS board.
@cwinlags since you are having the same issue with your iOS device, could you also be running version 13 of the iOS?

Yes, I did updated it to iOS 13. I tried the "Share System Notifications" via Bluetooth/Settings on my phone already, but that didn't help. I'll try showing iMessage previews, but it looks like I just got bad luck with the new iOS. Thank you for your help!

Fitbit was caught off guard when Apple did not release any info on notification changes at they made to iOS 13.
By now you have seen the banner above.

Same thing is happening to my charge 3, receiving all notifications but text. I have an IPhone as well.

I did a support chat with Fitbit on Monday and it took forever, at least 45 minutes of going back and forth. Finally it was something super simple.
Settings > Notifications > Messages
*Make sure your alerts are all checked for Lock Screen, Notification Center, Banners
*Shows Previews = make sure you choose When Unlocked (Default)
^^^My setting was on Never
So after resetting Fitbit, resetting the notifications on the Fitbit app, resetting phone, turning bluetooth off/on, we came to this part and that's all there was to it.
Hope this info helps 🙂
