Charge 3 not receiving notifications after iOS 13+ update

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Am I missing something? Been through every piece of copy/paste troubleshooting in these forums but still having trouble trusting notifications from iphone X on iOS 13.3.1 Charge 3 is Version 20001.63.5

Unpaired/re-paired everything. Re-installed fitibit app, rebooted device, rebooted phone, re-paired etc. Set up notifications as per instructions then test....

No email notifications have ever come through successfully (iphone always near device, and previews set to default). App notifications like WhatsApp or Instagram seem random, probably a third come through but most don't. Some notifications arrive silently so they're there if I swipe up.

Are there more steps to try? Is there a pattern to look for, or is it refund time?

Hi there @Shutterswipe, welcome to the Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that you're going trough this situation. Thanks for the details provided and for taking the time to troubleshoot the notifications on your iOS prior to contacting us.

I'd like to confirm that you've followed all the steps provided in the article: Troubleshooting quick tips for iPhones.

NOTE: it is important that you turn OFF and back ON the Share System Notifications setting if it is on.

Give this a go and let me know the outcome.

Hi, thanks - I've tried all those steps, then tried them again. Definitely toggled the system notifications sharing too. Calls work ok so far, but emails don't vibrate. Sometimes they deliver silently to the Charge but sometimes they don't appear for hours. Other apps are also a bit hit and miss. I understand a bit of a delay before vibrating but hours is useless. I also get a vibration every now and then for a specific reminder that I closed 3 days ago. The Fitbit seems to keep resurrecting it as it's not on the phone anymore.

No other bluetooth devices currently connected to the phone

Update - I received an email to my phone at 7:12 this morning. My Charge 3 notified me about it at 9:15, then it notified me again at 9:30, again at 9:40 and again at 10:00. I read the email on the phone hours ago, so there's nothing in notification canter hanging around, but this is more annoying than not receiving any notifications at all!

Thanks - tried all that dozens of times. I did actually get a notification on the Charge 3, 40 minutes it arrived. I then got the same notification 5 more times for the same email even though I'd cleared it. I'd really appreciate help in getting this sorted. I miss notifications when I need them, then it adds insult to injury by sending it again and again.
