Charge 3 not receiving texts

I’ve tried everything to get my charge 3 to receive texts and nothing will work. I am getting Facebook and Instagram notifications but nothing else. Any suggestions/tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank!!

I have a samsung s10 e and I have talked to fitbit. They said they are going to work on it. You should call them as well about this.

So I found a fix.  Not Fitbit related but something that is working for me.  I used an  App called Fit notifications. I installed it and after restarting my phone and rebooting my fitbit I'm getting my notifications.  I really didn't want to have to use some unknown app but it's something for now.

I am not getting fb or instagram on my charge 3 but more importantly to me text messages and phone notifications not being received

I have an Iphone 6s plus

Spoke with fitbit support and they said this is a problem at their end

I have tried everything. I receive calls and emails. The only text message app that my fit bit can retrieve notifications from so far is Google messages. I have a samsung s 10 e and its text app has not worked for 3 weeks now. Fitbit is looking into it.

Perhaps if enough of us contact fitbit it will motivate them to hurry on finding a fix for this issue

if all of us with Charge 3 fit bits that are experiencing notification
problems contact directly, perhaps this will get Fitbit to get this fixed
soon!
I had an Alta fitbit which worked wonderfully but replaced it with the
Charge 3 and have been thoroughly disappointed! Wish I would have
purchased an Apple watch!

I had an Alta Fitbit which worked wonderfully.  Chose to update and replace it with a Charge 3.  Nothing but problems and disappointment particularly when speaking with Fitbit for help today regarding the notification issue and found out this is a problem on their end.  I should have purchased an Apple watch!!  We should all rally and contact Fitbit to express our disappointment!

The notification issue has been a problem for me for several months.  It used to work, not now it doesn't.  I have tried all the suggestion & tips with no luck.  Periodically I do try the suggestions with no luck.  I am almost ready to trading my Fitbit an using another type of tracker.  I hope Fitbit fixes this issue soon, but I have my doubts.  I guess I will have no other choice the to change trackers.  It feels like Fitbit isn't working to fix the problem and doesn't care that they will lose customers.

I agree that they don't care.  It's been months and no fix. My mom has one that works. I'm on my 3rd and it doesn't.

Mine used to work when I first got it in early December 2019.  I have only had this fit bit for 2 months!  The return policy is for 45 days so I am out of luck.

Thanks for letting me know that there's a third party fix. At this point, I'll try anything!!
