Charge 3 not syncing and dim screen

Hi my name is Sophia, I live in England, I've been using Fitbit since 2016 to help me with my weight loss and to motivate me with my fitness. During this time I've had 3 different Fitbit's I first started with a charge HR I then needed something that allowed me to monitor swimming so I upgraded to a Fitbit Flex but soon discovered that I missed not having the time and personal goals so upgraded to a Fitbit charge 3. I was instantly in love. But during Covid-19 Fitbit did an update on my charge 3. So my Fitbit no longer syncs to my iPad or Motorola phone. So I've tried syncing to my new windows 10 laptop but even that's not working? But to make matters worse since fully charging over a week ago. It's not displaying the wrong time, the screen is so dark I can't read it and it doesn't matter if I go into settings to adjust the brightness. For the first time in over 5 years I've disgarded my Fitbit and worn a normal watch. I've tried to email and use the help link to no success. Feeling very let down by Fitbit and considering trying a different company to help me with my weight loss journey.
