Charge 3 not working

Charge 3 won’t charge. When I put it on the charge, it will turn on, but as soon as I take it off the charger, it turns black. I tried short and long hard restarts. I restarted my phone. I disconnected the device and had to sync it again. The date and time are wrong. I even changed the clock face but it won’t change because the battery is empty.I had to return my first charge 3 because of these same issues.  I only had this charge 3 for about 2 weeks. Please help. This is very frustrating. Thanks.
