I just thought I would share my situation in case anyone else is feeling frustrated having no luck getting notifications to their fitbit. I just spent an hour talking to fitbit support about my Charge 3 not receiving texts alerts (or any alerts for that matter). After doing all the troubleshooting I was told mine it is part of an ongoing issue and the product development team is working on a solution.
The really disappointing part was the next comment. . . . we currently do not have an estimation as to when this will be fixed.
That was their answer??? That seems unacceptable. This is beyond disappointing. It is only a year and a half old!! I was actually wanting to upgrade to a Versa 2 anyway but I would hate to spend more money and then the same thing happen. When you spend $120 bucks you expect to be able to use all the features and the text notifications was the biggest selling feature. This is a faulty watch to me and it should be replaced.
Now I am wondering if instead of the versa I switch brands. Too bad I have owned many fitbits and they were always wonderful.
I COMPLETELY agree with you!!! I have been having the same issues for the last 3 days. I also some with customer service in which he gave me a claim number and told me to restart my Fitbit. If I still am not getting my texts, then to call him back.
....
I have done all of the troubleshooting that's been recommended. I have rebooted, uninstalled/reinstalled, restarted, EVERYTHING and still nothing. I really think it's a common issue plaguing ALOT of Fitbit users. I just don't think it's only the Charge 3 that has problems lately.
Maybe it has to do with the update they did for iPhones that completely messed EVERYONE up??
Best AnswerYes this definitely makes me rethink buying another FitBit product. Which again is too bad cause they used to be so great.
