Charge 3 randomly vibrating and switching screens

I just bought my charge 3 about a month ago. This past weekend it started constantly vibrating and switching screens on me. Itll turn notifications off randomly or turn my screen wake of. It then doesn’t respond to touch and won’t stop. This has been happening for hours today the longest it’s been and it’s getting pretty frustrating and not sure what to do

My Fitbit Charge 3 just started doing the same this morning.  Have tried all the suggestions above but it will not re-set or restart.  Keeps returning to vibrating through different screens.  Seems to be stuck on yesterday's time also.  Not sure what to do - other than smash it with a hammer!
