Charge 3 recording Sleep incorrectly

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

This week my charge 3 didn’t record hours of time sleeping and shows split times. Example last night recorded from 10:30 to 11:30 then again from 2:30 to 4:00. I was definitely in bed and sleeping all night.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Beaglelady. Thank you for letting us know about the sleep record registered with your Charge 3.

In order to assist you, could you please let me know if this happened only one night or more than one night? How tight are you wearing your Charge 3 while sleeping? You can edit your sleep log.

  1. Tap the Today tab

     sleep tile.

  2. Tap the sleep log you want to edit.
  3. Tap the three dots and find the option to edit (on Android phones, tap the pencil icon in the top right).
  4. Adjust the time you went to sleep or the time you woke up, and save.

Note that for devices that receive sleep stages, if you extend your time asleep, you may notice gaps at the beginning or end of your sleep stages.

Keep on visiting the forums.

Thanks for the response.
I wear my Fitbit tight on my wrist … it doesn’t slide .
I think what happens is if I accidentally turn the watch on during the
night just with moving during sleep or if I do get up and move about it
doesn’t recognize that I’ve gone back to sleep generally for a 2 hour
period.
Thanks

Thanks for getting back to us and for the explanation @Beaglelady.  My sleep also shows cut sometimes but I'm aware that I move a lot and wake up during the night.

Don't wear your tracker too tight or too loose. Keep an eye on your sleep records the next days to see if the behavior continues.

Have a nice day.

Happened again last night.. had me asleep from 10:22 to 12:58 then awake
until 2:40 … I’m aware of those nights I’m awake for more than 5 or 10
minutes but last night wasn’t one of them .
