@KarishmaShah Have you tried rebooting it several times according to the instructions that can be found here?

Such a disappointment. I am having the same issues and the teboot doesnt work. Called customer service and that was a joke. Told me it may be days before someone contacts me by email. I was also told that they really are not having problems with the Charge 3, according to this community that was a bold daced lie! Beyond angry here.

@Sterrebonne By reboot doesn't work you mean CH3 does not reboot? Or it reboots but the screen is still black? Also, can you verify if your tracker still syncs with the app? What happens when you plug it for charging? Does it charge? Have you tried rebooting when plugged to computer USB instead of outlet?

As you mentioned, your case was escalated to a higher department and someone will be in touch with you shortly. I've updated your support case, though.

Welcome on board @maryzama! Thanks for trying the restart suggested, if you haven't contacted our Customer Support as my friend @Marrrmaduke recommended I'd like you to please try the long restart first.

To restart Charge 3 using the 15-second method

  1. Connect the device to the charging cable.
  2. While the device is plugged into the charging cable, press and hold the button down for 15 seconds.
  3. The device turns on and shows a battery icon. Two vibrations occur: first a short vibration, then a medium vibration.
  4. The device turns off.
  5. The device turns on and shows a progress bar and short vibrations occur. The progress bar completes. Note: A total of 7 short vibrations occur.
  6. Remove the device from the charging cable. The device shuts down.
  7. Important: Plug the device into the charging cable again

Give this a shot and let us know the outcome!

I tried, and my screen is still black. what should I do now ?

Best Answer

Thank you. This worked for me.

  1. Connect the device to the charging cable.
  2. While the device is plugged into the charging cable, press and hold the button down for 8 seconds.
  3. Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.

I’ve tried to reboot many times. With charger in electric plug and USBs port on my computer. The Fitbit vibrates but still black screen! It is fully charged and in sync with my iPad. Any other suggestions?
