Charge 3 screen corrupted

I disconnected the straps on my Fitbit Charge 3 to charge it, and when I looked back at the screen, there is a black and white fuzzy area down the right hand side and the display is flickering on and off the screen. It’s unreadable and unusable. I have tried holding in the button to restart it but this hasn’t done anything. What else can I try?
