Charge 3 screen flickering

My Charge 3 just keeps flickering between the "Screen Wake" settings screen and the "Home Screen (Clock)" while vibrating as it goes back and fourth. I tried rebooting it while connected to the charger but it gives me the horizontal status bar as it reboots the freezes. The is no 🙂 ever given. I've had multiple issues with this Charge 3 since I purchased it around Thanksgiving. I've tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling as well as reconnecting but I'm at a point now where I can't do much as the device is just cycling through screens and vibrating uncontrollably.  Also tried wiping it down to make sure there wasn't a fingerprint or something on the screen or sensor. No luck there. Ideas on if its defective and what I can do to resolve?

Thanks for the update @RunningRPM, it's great to hear that you will be receiving a new tracker. At the moment of receiving it, you just need to follow the instructions provide in the help article How do I set up my Fitbit device? to set it up.

 so i got my Fitbit charge 3 on Jan 11 and i haven't had any problems with it until Tuesday Feb 26, the home screen started to flicker and then it went black and two days later (today) i plugged it in to my computer and restarted it but its still flickering i was hoping for some help cuz i don't know what to do

I'm also having this problem, it just started today. My Charge 3 flickers between the smiley face, the screen with "Screen Wake" and "Notifications" and the clock (though incorrect time). I've connected to the charger and attempted the hard reboot, but to no luck. I've also deleted and and reloaded the app but it hasn't helped Thank you for any help!

I experiences the same issue with charge 3, I also tried restarted the device, removed from my account and reinstaled and factory reboot, nothing worked. Please help. Thanks

Hi Alejandra - So Im back. I received a new Charge 3 shortly after our dialog and now its doing it again however many months later. I've gone through the steps we outlined before and this doesnt seem to resolve the issue. Ideas?

Hi, my Fitbit Charge 3 which I've had for 6 months is flickering between the Time screen & Screen wake/Notification screens & vibrating uncontrollably. I had tried both soft & long resets a number of times & nothing is working. Please help!

I am having similar problems with my Charge 3. It started to flicker between different screens and discharged within 30 minutes. I followed the instructions to turn off/on, it seemed to charge and be OK. I was awoken at 2:00 AM with constant buzzing and changing of screens. I took it off and it was dead in the morning. I have tried twice to do the long reboot with the watch plugged in, it seems OK but then the face will display a horizontal line. I am currently using my Aria however I miss the Charge 3. I did upload a firmware update last week, not sure if that could have anything to do with issues.

Hi, I'm sorry to hear your Fitbit is not working - I was devastated when mine started doing the same as you describe. In the end I got in contact with the Fitbit Helpdesk & they sent me a replacement. They were absolutely amazing & offered excellent support, I received a brand new replacement in about a week & have had no problems with my new one.

I'll be on my 4th replacement device since December . same issue every single time.

Not happy - there's definitely a problem with the Charge 3 that no one at Fitbit is acknowledging.

Hi,

Mines doing lots of the same things. I'm sure I haven't done anything to it but two days ago it just kept buzzing about twice a minute and screen kept flicking on and off constantly. I tried plugging it in/reboot/reset and all that then got the dreaded horizontal white line and alternating smiley face, then it just went dead and the button on the side doesn't work. It keeps going from flicking on/off mad buzzing to totally dead to white line. And I can't take it back to the shop as I don't have the receipt .Brilliant. This is is the second time it's done it (As well as synching issues which I think is normal for the charge 3) .I should have taken it back in the first month I had it, may have found the receipt then. On well.

Hi Hayley, I'm sorry to hear you're Fitbit has the same issues I had with mine. I didn't need a receipt I contacted the Fitbit tech support & requested a replacement. I received exceptional support & had my faulty Fitbit replaced in about a week.

I am having this screen flickering issue for the last 3 days not able to use my fitbit tried every reset possible , please help got it to help with my health issues to keep a track on the sleep and steps now iam lost with all these screen flickering issues ...PLEASE HELP !!!!
