Charge 3 screen flickering

My Charge 3 just keeps flickering between the "Screen Wake" settings screen and the "Home Screen (Clock)" while vibrating as it goes back and fourth. I tried rebooting it while connected to the charger but it gives me the horizontal status bar as it reboots the freezes. The is no 🙂 ever given. I've had multiple issues with this Charge 3 since I purchased it around Thanksgiving. I've tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling as well as reconnecting but I'm at a point now where I can't do much as the device is just cycling through screens and vibrating uncontrollably.  Also tried wiping it down to make sure there wasn't a fingerprint or something on the screen or sensor. No luck there. Ideas on if its defective and what I can do to resolve?

Just contact fitbit help desk with the issue. 

They are very helpful and more likely than not will send you a replacement once they know you've tried all the recommended 'fix' steps. 

They'll talk you through it.

I just did a refund request. They checked that I'd bought it when and where I said I did and I had a new one within a week. Good luck.

I am having exactly the same problem. My charge 3 was a Christmas gift. It has now stopped working completely.

Hi,
I just filed for a replacement direct with fitbit, they checked my warranty was in date, and sent me a new one. Good luck!

Logged onto my fitbit account, I think there's a section called 'apply for/register replacement' or something. There was another answer in the same question on here that let me know how to do it.

I got my Charge 3 last year for Christmas and loved it until last Friday when I was at the gym and it kept vibrating and flickering screens.  I have tried to reset it several times as other post suggest, however it doesn't work.  When it does flick to the home page it doesn't even have the correct time?  It hasn't even been a year and I feel naked without it!  Any help would be much appreciated!!

Same things were happening to me. Flickering or frozen screen. Tried short and long restarts many times. In the end registered for a replacement under warranty which arrived within a week. Good luck.

Had the same issue. Contact Fitbit. They will talk you through some fix
ideas. If it doesn't work they will replace it!

This just started happening to me and it will not stop flickering even when plugged in. I’ve had this tracker for over a year now and am very surprised that this just started happening. Any help would be great

Contact fitbit customer services directly, they are very helpful... They will ask you to follow certain steps, and if it doesn't fix it, (mine didn't) they will send you out a replacement fitbit.

I’m currently experiencing the same thing. It won’t stop from switching back and forth. It’s vibrating and my home screen has lines through it.

I contacted fit bit. They talked me through some steps and they didn't work
so they sent me a new one.

My fit bit charge 3 is doing the same thing, flickering nonstop between screens and vibrating uncontrollably. I can't get it to stop no matter what I try. What did you end up doing to fix yours?

Actually mine stopped after that and would not turn back on at all. I had
to get a replacement.

Hey,
I contacted Fitbit and they talked me through a few steps, but in the end,
they sent me a new fitbit. Having said that, i'm not 100% pleased with this
one either and wonder if the Charge 3 hasn't got several bugs that need
sorting.

I'm having the exact same problem and have not been able to contact tech support.  My Fitbit is unusable.

Mine started working the following day, but now there are black lines and it doesn't hold its charge very well, like it did before. I don't recall it getting bumped or damaged in any way, i don't know why it's happening. I'm sad about it though.

i was able to get them and get a replacement ( after additional trouble
shooting) within a week. how are you reaching out to them?
