I have tried everything I have read in previous posts on here and my Fitbit screen is so dim that you just can’t see it at all outside at all and barely visible indoors I’m really disappointed as I have tried everything does anyone have any other suggestions?

Thanks

I have the same problem.  Happened after I updated device software a few weeks ago.  Screen is always black now.

I l also can not see outside at all. Just bought last week. Very disappointed! Can’t find anywhere to increase brightness.

Same here. Started wearing my analog watch. Just needs maintenance and occasional batteries.

This doesn’t work. It’s all black. I charged it last night. Everything was fine yesterday. Nothing illuminates when plugged in now.

I've done it all, short boot, long boot, dial changed. Nothing helps. I still can't see anything on my screen.
I think the problem is with Fitbit because I'm not the only one with this problem. Solve it Fitbit!!!!

Changing the clock face did nothing. I tried them all. My Charge 3 is fairly new and a replacement for one that failed. Don’t buy a Charge 3!!  Very disappointed.

Hi AndreaFitBit,  I've tried all of these options and it's still very dim.  I can't see my screen when I'm outdoors.  I asked a friend who had a different Fitbit, and their screen is way brighter than my Charge 3.  What can I do?

I too have the same problem and even did the turn  off then on, to no avail. I sure wish there was a solution out there as all other functions operate normally. You just can’t look at the watch face to do anything.

An idea came to me overnight that the problem might be damage caused by tapping on the screen to make the Charge 3 show the time. I have noticed that the darkest part is where I normally would tap the screen. As far trying everything in your original post send me a link to it and I will try but I’m sure I’ve already tried everything in it.

Thanks,
Bernie

On the Charge 3, swipe to the left until you see the "Settings". Tap on "Settings" and "Brightness Settings", should be your first option. Tap on "Brightness" to cycle through the options. You only have three options for brightness: Dim, Auto, and Normal.

Will

What is it that everyone does NOT seem to understand.   The screen is BLACK.  There is NOTHING visible.  There is NOTHING to see.  How can you tap, swipe, or do anything intelligible when you cannot see what you are doing, or know which options you are selecting or working with.  Close your eyes and try to work your Fitbit; same thing.  You cannot see ANYTHING.   Do you get it now!!
