Charge 3 screen is too dim

Charge 3 is charged but screen is so dim you can't see it.

I'm see alot of this on the forum. Any answers?

Hi there, @Erik2020. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Charge 3.

Please restart your Charge 3 as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

Neither of those things have made any difference. Brightness is set to auto and seems unchangeabke.

Hi there, @jmorley10. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for trying the tips and recommendations I've provided above. 

Since the steps recommended did not work, please check if the sleep mode on your Charge 3 is enabled. When the sleep mode setting is on:

  • Notifications don't cause the tracker to vibrate or the screen to turn on.
  • The screen's brightness is set to dim.
  • Turning your wrist won't cause the tracker’s screen to turn on.

Sadly I cannot do the recommended thing asI cant seeanything on the screen at all. The battery is fully charged.
Perhaps its just worn out!

I received an email this morning saying there is a replacement for Charge 3 ~ is this legit? Anyone else receive this email?  It will replace the charge 3 for FREE . No new bands.
