Charge 3 screen is very dim

Hi @Gabbycaz, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'd like to follow up and help you with your Charge 3 since the screen is very dim.

 

Please restart your Charge 3 as described in this help article. After this, try changing the clock face to one developed by Fitbit, not a third party clock face and see if the issue gets fixed.

Looks like this is a problem for a lot of people.  I just posted that my screen is very dim and have gone through all of the steps that are posted and I can't get it to get back to the brightness it was before I uploaded the new software a month ago.   I did change the clock face so I went in there today after see that could be the problem but still no change.  It is at the point where I can't even read it now in the dark.  It still works, I am using my phone to keep me updated, just hoping someone can fix it.  This is my 8th Fitbit in 5 years, I don't want to get another one.

Just in case you didn’t know, you can adjust the brightness on the watch face in settings. First option is brightness allowing auto; dim and normal. Mine seems to change itself sometimes. When it’s dim at night I can barely see the screen at all. Especially outside.
