Charge 3 screen issues

I have a charge 3 fitbit that I received as a gift last Christmas. About 2 months or so ago I started to get lines across the screen and it has gotten dimer where I  an hardly see it. I have tried restarting it and that didn't work.  Any suggestions?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Retcat.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing that your Charge 3 is showing lines and has gotten dimer. Thanks for trying to resolve this, I appreciate the additional details and I am here to help. Since you've tried to restart the tracker, I recommend doing a long restart:

  • Connect the device to the charging cable.
  • While the device is plugged into the charging cable, press and hold the button down for 15 seconds.
  • The device turns on and shows a battery icon. Two vibrations occur: first a short vibration, then a medium vibration
  • The device turns off.
  • The device turns on and shows a progress bar and short vibrations occur. The progress bar completes. Note: A total of 7 short vibrations occur.
  • Remove the device from the charging cable. The device shuts down.
  • Important: Plug the device into the charging cable again.

Please try to change the brightness setting on your Charge 3: go to Settings > Brightness and change to Auto or On. Please also confirm that you don't have "Sleep Mode” turned on: press and hold the button on your device. Tap a setting to turn it off. For more information, see How do I navigate my Fitbit device's screen?

Additionally, I recommend checking if your Fitbit app is updated to the latest version as updates come with new features and bug fixes: How do I update the Fitbit app?

By the way, I've moved your post to Other Charge Trackers board so we can keep our forums organized.

Let me know how it goes.
