Hello all, I bought my Fitbit Charge 3 from a friend (unwanted xmas gift) about 24 months ago and it's been excellent, had no major issues other than having to reboot it because of the black screen issue a few times. Usually I can solve it by plugging in the charger and holding the button for about 10 seconds until the smiley face appears. Unfortunately the screen has now gone black again with no responsiveness, and even if I try to reboot by plugging in the charger, holding for 15 seconds, then removing and re-plugging in the charger, this still doesn't work. The fitbit still vibrates when I press the side button, and still seems to connect with my phone no problem, I also updated the firmware today to see it that would solve the issue which it hasn't. I've tried cleaning the contact points on both the charger and the fitbit, and also tried changing through various clock faces through the app, however none of this has worked - the fitbit does vibrate still when I change clock layouts and still vibrates when I press the button or attempt to restart. The only thing I haven't tried is allowing the fitbit to run all the way down to 0% battery, and recharging and re-booting it from there. This seems to be the only option I have remaining. The fitbit still records data and shows it on my phone, however it's a real pain not having the screen working, and not being able to check my stats or the time at a glance. Is there any other way to restart my device, or any other methods to resolve this screen issue and get it working again? I'd be disappointed to have to buy a new one since I've only had it less than 2 years, never had it damaged at all, and it hasn't touched water (except a little sweat when exercising) Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.
