Charge 3 screen wake not working

When I'm waring my charge 3 the screen doesn't open when I move my wrist

Press side button a few seconds to get to Quick Settings; scroll down to Screen Wake; tap to toggle on or off.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
