The subject pretty much says it all The screen went black and then when I followed all the other directions I got a white line on it and now nothing I am not even able to turn it back on the green lights in the back are not on now what do I do

The one we had with this problem was replaced. I reached out to support via Twitter. Then got a mail response asking for details. And it was immediately exchanged.
In our case, the lights on the back were off. There was no way to get connected with the app and after the smiley face, it went back to black. It was clear the problem could not be solved.
If this is the same in your situation I would suggest to contact support.

My Charge 3 screen went blank sometime during the night. I can't get anything to show up on the screen.

Hi MarriFitbit,
I'm having the exact some issues as many of these other posts. I received my charge 3 today, and plugged it in at work to sgtart the set up process. It seemed to be going okay. Left work and plugged the charger in the car, it seemed to be charging okay at this point.... Unplugged and ran other errands with intentions of finishing the set up process at home. After plugging in the watch to the charger, there are no lights indiating it's charging. Holding the button for 15 seconds does nothing. Please help!

I am trying to sort out my husband’s Fitbit 3. For over a week it has stopped syncing. It vibrated a few time at various intervals and has not light at the back I have followed the suggested troubles shooting and it is still not working. 🙁🙁 Please help.

I'm having the same issues. When I plug my Charge 3 into the charging cable and hold the button for 15 seconds, nothing happens, The app won't find the Charge 3 so I can't change the clock face. I just got this FitBit a month ago and it was working fine until the screen went black and green light on back went out yesterday.

Call Fitbit customer service. They were great. Mine was slightly out of warranty (one year) and they sent me a replacement. N/C

I could not file a claim because it said it needed a device but it would not connect or turn on besides a smiley face and it would not sync.🙄☹️

My screen has been black since last week, no amount of holding the side button has helped, changing the clock face has not helped. What should I do?
it has been keeping track of my steps at least but this morning I accidentally shut it off.

My husband had the some problems including not syncing. I spent hours on line with Fitbit Chating to three different people I gave up!😥 My husband’s charge 3 is now not working!! I was told someone will get back to me about the flashing green lights to date no one has!! I am very disappointed with the product and Fitbit. 😥😣
