Charge 3 screen won't wake

I've had my charge 3 for less than 2 weeks. It just stopped working. The screen won't wake even after I charged it. Nothing happens... no vibrate or light up.

Please try to restart your Fitbit if you haven’t done so already.

Also make sure your firmware is up to date by syncing your Fitbit on the app. (Firmware version is 20001.44.33)

From the clock face, swipe to Settingsand tap Reboot Device

If your tracker is unresponsive, follow the restart instructions below.

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
  3. Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display.
  4. Press and hold the button to restart your tracker
    • press and hold the button on your tracker for 8 seconds. Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.
  5. Unplug your tracker from the charging cable.

I just encountered this same problem but was able to solve it by going in the the app on my phone and changing the clock face. It reset the screen and then I was able to change the clock face back to the way I like it.

This morning when I got up my screen was doing the same thing and I tried to change the screen from the app like you said and it worked so thank you! I also found a screen that I like much better than the one I was using! Much appreciated!

Also experienced a similar problem a short while ago (device was functioning OK, but screen wouldn't come to life), and changing the clock face via the app worked a treat. Thank you.

Awesome. I rebooted as per your advice - Fitbit was totally unresponsive in terms of screen waking - and it worked a treat.

I'm having the same issue!  My screen will not turn on and I have changed the clock faces in the past to get it to work but now that is not solving the issue and the button vibrates still, updates through the app, etc.  But cannot get the screen to come on!
