Charge 3 setup issues

My Fitbit Charge 3 has been needing a software update but was never able to properly sync with my phone to install the update. Earlier today I tried for several hours to get it to sync. still nothing. so finally, I unpaired my Charge 3 with my phone and now i cannot for the life of me get it to reconnect!

 

I have tried everything, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the Fitbit app, I've restarted both my phone and the charge 3 several times, I've tried reconnecting it to anther device besides my phone, and I've even created a new Fitbit account and it still wont reconnect. Please help I've been at this for 4 hours!

Thanks for troubleshooting this syncing/setup issue. If you can't now setup your tracker, I recommend taking a look at the help article: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device? and follow the instructions provided there.
