Charge 3 showing 001 error

My Charge 3 is stuck in a triangle shape with circles and a number 001 and I can't reboot, any suggestions?

Thanks for troubleshooting this 001 error by yourself. Please make sure to follow the instructions provided in the help article How do I restart my Fitbit device? to restart your tracker.

If this process doesn't work, perform a long restart:

  • Plug the device into the charging cable.
  • While the device is plugged into the charging cable, hold the button down for 15 seconds.
  • Remove your finger from button. Note: Device won't have a smiley face icon and should be off with a black screen.
  • Remove the device from the charging cable.
  • Plug the device into the charging cable again.
  • The smiley face icon appears on the screen.

I'm just curious if y'all just read off a script or if you have an actual resolution? I've had my charge 3 in my possession for three weeks. At first it worked great. Now, not at all. My problems started on Thursday morning. It stopped registering the heart rate at 5:53 am. I contacted CS and they sent my case to the escalation department. During the process of trying to get it fixed with the CS rep, it unpaired the device from my Fitbit app. So I called CS again. It wouldn't work. The lady was stuck on me not having a phone that Fitbit has tested. She refused to accept the fact that I am new to the area that I live in and I don't have access to a phone that has been tested. Well I ended up finding my old iPhone that IS on your list. Anyway, it wouldn't connect still. What happened instead is that I got the 001 screen. I follow the steps that you say to take and when it restarts I get the same dang screen. I have a replacement on the way but y'all just have NO idea how frustrating it is that we try to get help and y'all just tell us the same steps over and over again just to throw your hands up because we dont have a phone on your list. This is my first experience with Fitbit and so far y'all aren't making a lifetime customer out of me.
