Charge 3 stairs

My charge 3 doesn't register every time I go up the stairs. E.g. I know I go upstairs between 6-8 times a day but it might only register 3. Any ideas why this might be?

hi @MazDaz64  this also happens to me but the Fitbit mostly does not track your stair climbing .... it tracks your steps and active mins and heart rate

Mine registered more stairs than I went up.  Some days I don’t go up stairs but it registers 4-5 stairs.
