Hi, I got my Charge 3 2 days ago and the steps on my watch are 700 and on my app they are 8000 and something which is correct. How do I reset the steps on my watch please?

Can someone please publish an article on how to sort this issue out?

I activated my fitbit today, after a couple of months of not using it and it logged 29k steps all of a sudden, for today. I barely made a couple to the fridge and back 😅 but 29k... I wish!! 😂

So, can someone help me reset the step count, please?

Thanks.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @SilviuH, Thank you for sharing your Charge 3 step inquiry.

Wow, your fridge must be very far... You can check help article: How accurate are Fitbit devices?

You can log a not-step based activity such as driving to override unwanted steps:

  1. Tap the Today tab.
  2. On the Exercise tile

    , tap the + icon

     Log or Log Previous.
  3. Choose Driving as the exercise type. Make sure the exercise details overlap with the time period your device logged the unwanted steps or floors.
  4. Tap Add or Log it. Your steps, floors, and calories burned will decrease for the time period you specified.

Keep on visiting the forums.
