Charge 3 steps reducing when syncing

So I’ve just had a replacement Charge 3 received a week ago after same issues (and other bits) with my last one. When out exercising/walking once or multiple times I hit my 10k target and get the disco balls on my watch, but when I sync my watch and phone I’m not there yet.

Tonight after a walk my watch told me I was at 16k steps but when I synced with my phone I’d only done over 8k. Any suggestions?

It's great to see you around, @atwinmummy.

Are you manually logging any type of activity that might be reducing the amount of steps you are doing? Is the rest of your information syncing properly?.

I hope to hear from you soon.

Hi, everything’s else is syncing fine.
Had the same problem today on a walk, hit my 10k whilst out got home and watch said 11k steps total, synced with phone and actually only 6k steps taken (which I know to be more accurate due to distance travelled).

Tried all the various reboots and resetting of watch before given this replacement, and it’s upto date on latest version of software too.
