My Charge 3 stopped syncing with my phone after numerous attempts to fix it by restarting etc I removed the device from my app.
now I’m trying to set it up again and it’s been stuck on connecting to tracker for over 30 minutes... has found the tracker. Help? About to throw it through a window

I am sorry for the delay in response and understand how are you feeling. If you can't pair your Charge 3, I recommend checking the help article: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device? and follow the instructions provided there.

Hi,
I have the exact same problem and it's being very annoying. I have problems syncing my Charge 3 since April 2020, just after a Fitbit app update on Android. My Fitbit syncs now once or twice per week at night (between 3-4 am). I find it very weird that it almost always happens at the same time, and only sometimes and while I'm sleeping.
Everything I've checked so far:
- my Fitbit is fully charged. I tried syncing while being connected to the cable and without
- I removed the app and installed it again. It worked the first day, after that it didn't sync again
- I logged out and in
- I removed all other Bluetooth devices (before I never had problems with them, but just in case)
- when I try to sync the Fitbit from my Bluetooth settings I receive the message: "it can't communicate with Charge 3"
I think that either the app update has some bug in it or maybe my mobile model has been left out of the list of devices that are compatible with Fitbit, which I think it's ridiculous since my phone is only 2 years old.
I got in contact with the support team and all they did for me was sending me the article on how to sync the app. I had already followed and checked all steps, so please, spare me the waste of time.
Any other tips?
Best AnswerI've been having similar problems, since March I've had to factory reset my charge 3 every week, which then often takes hours of clearing everything off my phone, uninstall, reset everything. I've tried clearing the device data after I can get it syncing so it dosent build up but nothing seems to be working. Seriously I'm wearing it less now as it's just not worth it.
