Hi, I've owned my Fitbit for one month now.
In the past week, I noticed my Fitbit stopped tracking my heartrate, my sleep and my steps (or any other activity).
The only thing it's able to do is track time.
I have rebooted it atleast five time, both with the integrated reboot function as well as by holding the button while putting it on charge.
When I reset it, it starts working for about 30 minutes. It then suddenly stops and nothing is tracked. I noticed that the green light doesn't turn on when it stops tracking - which I guess is why it's doing that.
The Fitbit wasn't damaged in any way and I'm somewhat frustrated by all this. It's basically just a watch now, defeating the entire purpose of buying it.
The only answers I could find online were telling me to reset it - which I have done many times (as well as the hard reset/resetting it 3 times in a row)
I'm at a loss, thanks for the help if any.

This is the same case for me; I received a replacement Charge 3 10/08/2020 & this week the following have not been tracked:- sleep, heartrate, exercise. I have rebooted three times this evening & no green lights at all. Battery at 72%. Any advice gratefully received.

Im having a similar problem with my Fitbit charge 3. It was working fine until yesterday i noticed rapid battery drain. i charged it before bed, wore it to bed and waking up in the morning the battery was depleted. upon charging it again now it tracks nothing, no steps, no stairs, no sleep, no heart rate (even heartrate lights are off). It is syncing but no tracking is happening. I have
1. rebooted (over 10 times) both using the tracker under "about" and using the 8 second method while charging cable is connected.
2. I have cleared user data and re-paired the tracker to the app, but still nothing. it syncs but does not track any activity.
i dont know what else to try, been on the forums all day.
