Charge 3 strap button doesn’t pop back up

The button that releases the straps doesn’t pop back up like it’s supposed to. So far I’ve cleaned it up with alcohol but it still doesn’t pop back up. Anybody have any tips on fixing it?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Rockets808.

I am sorry to hear the strap button on your Charge 3 doesn’t pop back up. Thanks for trying to resolve this and I am here to help. I would like to confirm if you're able to disconnect the band from the tracker and attach it back? You can confirm the steps to remove and attach the band at How do I change my band on my Fitbit device?

Additionally, I recommend checking if your Fitbit app is updated to the latest version as updates come with new features and bug fixes: How do I update the Fitbit app?

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

Yes I can remove the strap and put it back. The button just doesn’t come
ALL the way back up. When I lock the strap back into place, the button
stays slightly depressed

Thank you for your reply, @Rockets808.

I appreciate the additional details. Thank you for letting me know that you can remove the strap and put it back. Before considering other options, could you please confirm if the band disconnects when you wear it? I will be glad to assist you further.

Looking forward to your response.
