Charge 3 to Strava

My charge 3 and Strava are connected and syncing works fine. But I am having to manually import activities. Do I have to start and stop exercise for this to happen rather than the charge just tracking the activity? Thanks in advance.

@Steffyj1 Welcome to the Community.

Let me help you with this. Only GPS enabled activities will sync with Strava as they explain in their help site here. If you wish to know how to record GPS activities you can check our help article here.

Let me know how it goes.

Hope this information helps you better understand the link between these two apps so you can better track your activities with them.

I have just had a quick look at the guidance and can’t see what I’m doing wrong. Fitbit and Strava are linked and syncing. Gps enabled always. I have done 30 mins boxercise started and stopped on the Fitbit only but it’s not imported to Strava. Maybe it takes some time? I am manually importing. I’m a newbie but I’ll keep at it! Thanks

Thank you for your enthusiasm @Steffyj1!

I want to clarify something. Only walking related activities will record GPS data as there is actual distance being recorded in these (hikes, runs, walks, etc.). This is why I shared the GPS help article but I hope this clarification helps with this question. If the activity has this data then it will be synced with Strava.

Keep me posted.
