Charge 3 tracking floors while sleeping

I just received badge:

"Super-duper! You've earned the Cloud badge. Your lifetime floor number is sky high at a whopping 8000 floors! You're making it rain and we're on cloud nine thinking about this awesome achievement."

I use a bi-pap that helps me breath while I sleep, and apparently it causes my fitbit Charge 3 to count lots of floors while I sleep!  At least, that's my guess so far.  I live in a flat senior citizen house with no steps and stay home almost all the time because of COVID.

Hello @proudindiv. Welcome to the community forums.

I'm sorry for the experience and thank you for the detailed information. At this time, I'd recommend performing a restart to your Charge 3 by following the instructions here: How do I restart my Fitbit device?

On a side note, I'd like to let you know that you can't delete steps and floors, but if you continue experiencing this and you believe it is due to the bi-pap, you can log a non-step-based activity such as driving to override the false steps or floors tracked:

  1. Tap the Today tab
  2. On the Exercise tile, tap the + icon then Log or Log Previous.
  3. Choose Driving as the exercise type. Make sure the exercise details overlap with the time period your device logged the unwanted steps or floors.
  4. Tap Add or Log it. Your steps, floors, and calories burned will decrease for the time period you specified.

Hope this helps.
