I had two 4 hours drives this weekend and my Fitbit registered it was Outdoor bike and 500 calories. What’s that all about?
Also I had charge 2 first and either than under stepped me ot this charge 3 is more sensitive as I do a lot more steps with this during the day. Can I turn it down?

From what I've been reading they will use this information to improve FUTURE products.....little do they know there won't be future buyers if the don't fix their current products.
I’ve also had problems with charge 3 logging steps whilst driving, I’ve followed the instructions to manually log the time driving but this then counts driving as an exercise for the day! Is there a way to avoid this but still discount your steps from driving ?
Hi can you please update a button like option in the app and when we press it fit bit should stop tracking steps.
All the options you are providing as a solution are ridiculous and fit users are not paying this premium price to go through this pain of updating activities for driving in the app.
Even my cheap honor smart watch could achieve and do not count steos while driving
All your reply is useless
What is needed is a PAUSE option on the device to STOP it from counting steps.
It’s NOT rocket science.
Although I still don’t understand WHY it counts steps when you’re in a vehicle. My pedometers, which use the same 3-axis technology, don’t count any extra steps.
I find it annoying that this post was marked as answered, when it has not been answered. People are still having the problem. The moderator conveniently marked their own answer as the best answer. I don't see an acknowledgement by Fitbit that they have a problem here. Another thing I don't understand is since I'm the original poster on this, why my original post is no longer displayed.
This is not a satisfactory answer, fitbit is still logging extra steps when driivng. It makes it useless as a fitness tracker. It is very disappointing to be ignored by Fitbit in this manner. It is infuriating to have this genuine complaint brushed off in this manner. This is now for me just a watch with a timer.
