Charge 3 unresponsive screen

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi all,

I have a Fitbit Charge 3 which I haven't used in a long time. I went to go a charge it up again to reuse it and it is unresponsive. I have left it charging for 2 days using a wall plug socket. The screen remains blank, but when you touch the button it vibrates.

Following some advice from other I have tried holding the button for 30+ seconds to no avail.

Advice would be great

@ABCBunch Hello and welcome to the community!

Thank you for letting me know about this situation with the screen of your Charge 3, I also appreciate the steps taken. Please, try these steps:

- Sync your device.
- Restart your Charge 3 following the steps in this article.
- Change the clock face of your device.

Once you have completed this, let me know your experience and how it is after completing the steps.

I'm having the same issues and I tried all 3 of the steps several times. So far, no success. Any other suggestions I can try?

Hi Chris,

Thanks for the advice. If I hold the button while it is "charging" it continually vibrates. It does this for varying lengths of time but never last the full 8 seconds.

I am unable to sync it or change the clock face sine the screen is unresponsive.

Any other suggestions?

In addition it is now vibrating in dependently without my touch. The vibrations are slowly dying down like it is losing power but I am not touching it.

I have exactly the same issue with my Charge 4. Wanted to start wearing it again after several months of cancer treatment. And now it simply won’t work (it worked perfectly before…) The online customer support were unable to offer me any other advice apart from the steps I’ve already followed. And now it seems, it has broken after two years of use. Fitbit don’t want to know as it’s outside the warranty period. But I’m deeply unimpressed that I wasted £130 on this product 😞
