My Charge 3 went into meltdown yesterday (1/3/21). I've just looked on my phone to see when I got it and the first activity was logged 29/2/20! I'm no conspiracy theorist but really?!
In case it's curable, it's completely unresponsive - the clock display turns on but no amount of tapping of swiping will change the display, although sometimes it does appear on a different screen the next time I turn it on.
I've tried holding the button for 8 seconds with no effect.
I can't get to the Settings menu.
I've tried changing the clock display.
Nothing!
Any clues, please?

Same problem. This morning I woke up, checked my fitbit for the time and it was showing 83% charge. Then all of a sudden it dropped to 0%. I put it on the charger and took my shower. Came back out and it said it was 90% charged so I put it back on. Noticed on my way to work that when I was lifting my wrist, the display wasn't "waking up" like normal. Tried to scroll through the menus and it's unresponsive. Will sometimes come back up with another menu screen but I can't select anything (i.e., alarm, exercise, etc.). Tried manually rebooting by holding the side button for 8 seconds and it won't do it--just pulls up the "DND/Sleep" menu screen, on which I can't even select anything. Fitbit is still counting steps and syncing without any issues but I literally can't do anything with the screen. It's so dim now that I can barely even see it.
So I did the online chat. However, apparently I have to wait until I get home before they can even help me because I don't carry the charger around everywhere with me because, you know, my fitbit is supposed to hold a charge for at least 4 days. That means when I get home at 7pm I'll have to try to get in touch with support and go back through the whole "troubleshooting" thing again and it likely won't work then either. YAY just what I ALWAYS wanted!

@Cgishnock I hope you are doing fine.
Sorry to hear about this. As Support mentioned they need to try troubleshooting this issue. Still once you prove them that the issue persists they should be able to continue with the process and see for a solution.
I'll be around.
