Charge 3 vibrates but blank screen

Fully charged.....blank screen.....vibrates when button is pushed

Hi there - having the same issues as N1MU. Have tried resetting multiple times. Fitbit is disconnected from my app + will not be found when I try to connect via bluetooth.

 

Can see the smiley face when connected to charger - vibrates when touch side button - but constant black screen.

 

Can you help create a case for my device as well?

So I am on my 3rd Fitbit charge 3. Each one has stopped working for one reason or another. I had a Charge 2 and didn’t have any issues. I upgraded to the charge 3 because it claimed to be water resistant as I started to exercise in the pool. So I’ve had nothing but problems since I updraded and it’s only been 5 short months. My current issue is the newest one worked fine for a week then all of a sudden it was tracking but I had no screen. I really don’t want to have to erase my data to do a reset. That’s ridiculous! I did notice in the app in the upper right hand corner it shows a picture of what looks like a ribbon from a typewriter maybe with a pink dot above it. Has anyone with screen issues seen this?

Hi, no joy resetting, everything shows as working on the app but dead on the screen of the watch

Same issue. I just got a new Fitbit. It vibrates when I push the button but the screen remains black.

I tried to restart it...NOTHING!

My was defunct! Got a new one as I tried all the other tricks and no joy!

@LRMCG did FitBit replace it or did they judt give you a discount on a new one?

They replaced it. Thank goodness. I haven't activated it yet. This is the 3rd fitbit charge 3 I have gotten. All had different issues for one reason or another. Not happy with this Fitbit product. I didn't have ANY issues with my Charge 2 Fitbit. The only reason I changed to the charge 3 is because I wanted something that was water resistant so I could keep it on while I use the pool for exercise. 
What about you? Did fitbit replace yours?

Please help! 

Fitbit Charge 3 simply does not work, it vibrates when I connect to charger or press button but screen is completely black, tried the reset function various ways but nothing seems to work??

Hi everyone,

Sorry for the delayed reply!

I spoke to their customer service right After I posted and they asked me if
I’ve performed all their troubleshooting methods to no avail. Since my unit
was still under warranty, they replaced the pebble immediately after the
chat (they have very good customer service Chat bots). I asked for a new
charger as well because the existing one didn’t work with the new pebble.
They sent the new charger to me immediately.

Please follow the steps above and I hope they replace your units!

Hey i have same problem. i tried all possibilities but nothing happen because mi phone cant find the device. Some another option?

My Fitbit charge 3 screen is blank the 4th time.  First time I change clockface and it works.  2nd time I change clock face still blank and then I reset is by pressing down the button for 8 seconds and it works.3rd time I try 1 and 2 but does not work so I press for 15 sec, etc.  It works.  This is the 4th time. Steps 1 through 3 does not work anymore.  Any other suggestion?

Hi,

my wife’s Fitbit charge 3 screen has also stopped working but still vibrates. Have made several attempts to reboot as per the guidance and change clock faces but no response on the screen. It was a gift for her in December 2028 (in Uk) but no proof of purchase.

can you help?

I received my new replacement tracker yesterday, after getting in touch with customer service on live chat.

I had to tell them where I bought it from and roughly when. I would just let them know it was a gift - they would be able to check when it was first set up by your wife giving her email address used to create Fitbit acct.

Fingers crossed you get sorted, and fingers crossed mine won't go the same way - 3rd time lucky for me?
